Dicken Cup
The winner of the Dicken Cup was Gareth Williams (CYD) beating fellow clubmate and previous winner Roger Morgan 21- 9 in the final. Gareth had beaten Martin Hughes (Blaenau) 21-14 in the semi and Roger overcame Gwerydd Buckland (Bangor) by the same score in his semi. The event was sponsored by Llandudno Town Council and Councillor Sylvia Barrett presented the prizes.
Geraint Jones Junior Cup
Bryn Hughes (CYD) won the annual junior cup beating
clubmate Dan Jones in a very good quality final.

Welsh Junior Merit Finals
Bryn Hughes played very well to reach the semi final at Menai Bridge.
British Merit Finals
Roger Morgan again played very well to reach the Quarter final stages with some fine wins on the way. He was Wales best performer on the day.
CLUB REPORT
It's midway through the season and the teams are having mixed fortunes.
In the Llandudno and District League the B team have drawn and beaten the A teamand are lying sixth, while the A team are ninth. In Section B Deganwy have won all their matches while our C team are 2 points behind second place Vadre, having won 10 of their 13 matches so far.
In the North Wales Coast League the A team are struggling at the foot of the table, the B team are lying second in Section C with 3 other teams within 4 points of them.
The Welsh Counties Division 2 team are lying sixth out of eight but are within 8 points of 4 teams above them.
The Senior Citizens are heading the Division A Gwynedd Senior Citizens League equal on points with Penmaenmawr but with a game in hand.
The Welsh Junior team had an impressive victory over Cheshire, with a 12-0 home win , Bryn Hughes having the best individual scoire 21-7. Dan Jones won 21-14. Wales now meet a strong Yorkshire side in the Semi final on August 11th.
In the Gwynedd Cup Craig-y-Don lost in the semi final to Llanfair PG by only 6 points. The away team of 4 won well but the home team struggled on a very wet night.
CLUB COMPETITIONS
Ian Andrews played well to win the H.L.Williams Salver beating Neville Roberts 21-20 in an exciting final.
The William Howard Rose Bowl was won by John Steen who
beat Bob Coulter 21-17 in the final. Losing Semi finalists were
Dave Massey and J D Jones.
In The Ralph Williams Veterans Cup Terry Hampton beat Bill Bailey 21-18 in the Final. The two losing semi finalists were Tony Davies and Parry Jones.
