The season is now at an end and Green No 1 closes next week, but all is not lost as Green No 2 opens on 1st November for the hardy winter bowlers and the membership is now closed as the numbers now exceed 100.
Accessibility is now limited as building work has commenced on the building of the new Community Centre and this is hoped to be open in June 2004.
Team Reports
North Wales Coast League
Despite beating League Champions 10-4 in the last but one match of the season the A team are relegated to Section B next season, where they will meet the B team who finished runners-up (despite being leaders up to August) to Holyhead and gained promotion to SectionB.
Llandudno and District League
There was a points difference between the A and B team in Section A where they both finished mid table.
The C team finished fifth in Section B winning 12 out of 20 matches and being in the top half of the table all season.
Welsh Counties
The team played well but finished last but one in Division 2
Gwynedd Senior Citizens League
The team finished fifth in the table but felt they could have done better
Llandudno and District Junior League
Two teams pulled out but the juniors enjoyed their first competitive season and gave a good account of themselves.
They also played in the inter area games on a Saturday morning and won a few games.
Gareth Hughes the A team captain has the juniors as reserves for his matches and several have stepped in to play, and two of them both had good wins incidentally games against St Asaph Byron Roberts at home and Rob Knowles away.
Ladies Team
They won the majority of their friendly matches but lost the Fildes Cup against the Oval, Llandudno in a nail biting finish, where both teams ended equal on games and aggregate and C-y-D lost the extra game played.
Veterans
The Veterans won most of their friendly matches.
Gwynedd Cup Team
The highlight of the season was the winning of the Gwynedd Cup at Beaumaris, against a much fancied Deganwy team.

OPEN COMPETITIONS
Don Morgan Trophy
The Don Morgan Trophy attracted a class field of 32 bowlers from the North West and North Wales, and Yorkshire county player Chris Slater beat Darren Williams (Deganwy) 21-16 to take the Trophy.
Chris showed great resilience all day and came through five tough matches, most notable in the quarter-final where he recovered from 12-20 down to beat Gareth Hughes (Craig-y-Don) 21-20. The other quarter-final results were Steve Dace (St Asaph) 21Gary Roberts (Deganwy) 19, Barry Phillips (Deganwy) 21 John Bailey (Llanrwst) 9, Darren Williams (Deganwy) 21 Gareth Williams (Craig-y-Don) 8. Semi-finals Slater 21 Dace 18, D. Williams 21 Phillips 2.
Steve Dace won the Highest Break Award with a break of 15, and Miriam Norman (Wilmslow) won the Best Lady Award.

Gwynedd Senior Citizens League Pairs
Mrs Pat Bird and J.Derek Jones were runners-up to the Bangor pairing of Trevor Lewis and Phil Dunt 21-16 in the League Pairs Competition held at Bethesda
Rhos Park Open
Junior Daniel Jones was the beaten finalist when he lost 21-14 to Welsh Champion John Bailey (Llanrwst) in the Rhos Park Open last month.
Club Competitions
Ladies Trophy
Mrs Elie Jones beat Mrs Joy Parry 21-18 to win the Ladies Trophy and the losing semi-finalists were Mrs Carol Sanford and Mrs June Kirsopp.
Club Championship
Bill Bailey won the Club Championship for the second year in succession by beating Bryn Hughes 21-17 in the final, and the losing semi-finalists were Mrs Betty Jones and junior Jason Jones.

The Club congratulate all those who gained success, and commiserate with those who just missed out or thought they could have done better.
There will be many a bad luck or if only story talked about over a drink or two during the dark winter evenings, and looking forward to next season, while some will fill in their time bowling indoors and the foolhardy bowling outdoors.
