CYD
NEWSLETTER
(October 8th, 2001)
The League Teams have had a successful season with congratulations going to the following-
Both the A and B Teams were Runners Up in their respective sections gaining promotion to section A and C.
The A team finished 4th in Section A while the B team required at least 4 points from their last rearranged match against Conwy to avoid relegation, they ended up winning it 9-3 to stay up.
Again the strongest team in the league propping up all the others.
Congratulations to the Golden Oldies on being champions during their first season, losing only 4 of their 26 matches and two of those by only a couple of points in the agg.
The Ladies won 6 out of their ten matches and retained the Fildes Cup against the Oval, Llandudno.
