MIDWINTER NEWSLETTER

Around eighty members have joined our winter bowling section and the Queens Road green is very busy most days, especially during the last week due to the sunny cold weather.

Boxing Day Competition

There will be a Round Robin pairs competition for members on Boxing Day – Start and scratch 10.00 am. Entry £10 per pair.

Club Improvements

The committee have approved plans to improve the Club’s surrounds and by the opening date (23^rd March 2002) it is hoped to have two paved patio areas either side of the clubhouse. These areas will allow additional areas for seating around tables, greater access for wheelchairs and could be used as a presentation area.

Annual General Meeting

The eighty-eighth Annual General meeting will be held at St. David’s Methodist church hall, Mostyn Avenue, Craig-y-don on Monday 14^th January 2002 at 7.00 pm. All members are welcome to attend.
